Centre Director – 01 Post

Eligibility

The candidate must have a doctorate in biology or any other relevant interdisciplinary field and should be an outstanding scientist with high academic eminence at national and international level, and should demonstrate administrative skills and be prepared to pursue science across the spectrum of NCBS research.

Basic experience

For direct recruitment. At least 15 years of teaching / research experience at recognized national / international universities / research institutes / corporate or industrial research and development laboratories, etc. in domain biology or any other related interdisciplinary field such as faculty / scientist. Research experience will also include research conducted during postdoctoral work.

By Deputation / Contract. Scientists or technologists working in central / state governments / universities / recognized research institutions / semi-governmental, legal or autonomous organizations in India, having the basic education and experience listed above and (i) occupying a similar position or (ii) with 1 year. of regular service at 14 or equivalent.
