Tata Steel is looking for applications from interested applicants for the Engineer Trainee position in Operations, Maintenance and Engineering & Projects for Tata Steel.

1st position: trainee engineer

Program information

Selected candidates will be employed as engineering trainees for a period of 1 year

The trainees are assessed regularly during the training period. After successful completion of the apprenticeship, they will be considered for a three (3) year fixed-term employment as Assistant Manager (IL6) at Tata Steel.

Functions to be selected / minimum requirements for education:

Must have completed or should be a final year student in BE / B Tech / BSc (Engg) in the following specified discipline.

Must have completed or should be a final year student in M ​​Sc in the following discipline:

Other policies:

Candidates who have completed the 3-year diploma and who have directly entered the second year of engineering and are in the final year of BE / B Tech / B Sc (Engg) are also eligible to participate

Must have participated in an AICTE / UGC approved full-time campus program

For general candidates: Must have achieved at least 6.5 (where the grading pattern is CGPA) or 65% (where the grading pattern is percent) at BE / B Tech / B Sc (Engg) / MSc Geology Examination

For transgender people, PwD, SC / ST candidates: Must have at least 6.0 (where the points pattern is CGPA) or 60% (where the points pattern is percent) in BE / B Tech / B Sc (Engg) Examination / MSc degree geology

Preference will be given to candidates residing in the states of Jharkhand and Odisha

Cover:

The engineering internship is offered a comprehensive scholarship of 30,000 per month during the one-year apprenticeship period.

The engineering internship is insured according to the Medi-Claim Scheme only for itself (which includes hospital care insurance of Rs 2,50,000 per year and OPD insurance of Rs. 6,000 / – per year).

Upon successful completion of the training, those appointed as temporary assistant managers will be offered a CTC of INR 6 lacs per year along with other benefits and benefits under the company policy.

Age Limit

For general candidates: Should not be older than 30 years as of July 1, 2022. For Transgender, PwD, SC/ST Candidates: Should be no older than 32 on July 1, 2022.
