Candidate with First class degree in the mentioned qualification and relevant experience in Petrochemical / Refinery/ Chemical / Fertilizer Industries will be given preference |
Broad business profile:
The debtor manages the materials management function and reports to MD, OPaL. He / she is responsible for developing long-term, cost-effective procurement strategies, planning and managing material needs, inventory management, service contracts, developing relationships with suppliers,
Performs annual supply and demand analyses for all purchases of services, materials, chemicals, etc. including food, ie. oil, LPG, LNG, etc. His / her responsibilities also include defining the department’s strategy, identifying expenditure categories, performing expenditure analysis, and c. actively seeking savings opportunities through spending optimization / long-term agreements, etc. He/she should have a good knowledge of RFQ / bidding / tendering process, negotiation and selection of suppliers, international contracts/commercials/imports, SAP MM / SRM module, supplier relationship management, and contract management experience.
