The National Research Center for Geosciences (NCESS), located at Thiruvananthapuram, is an autonomous research center under the Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES) of the Government of India. NCESS offers an online application for a permanent position for interested, eligible and potential Indian citizens to fill 01 (one) Hindi Typist position. The position, salary, academic qualifications, responsibilities, application form and other general conditions are detailed below:
Position: Hindi Typist (Group C)

Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent qualification from a recognized board or university Hindi typing speed of 30 words per minute on a computer (equivalent to 9000 KDPH with an average keystroke of 5 per word). The allotted time is 10 minutes.
Salary: 19,900-63,200/Tier 2 7th CPC Salary Matrix Rs 19,900-63,200.

Not exceeding 28 years (relaxation as per Govt. Rules)
General terms:
The position covers the allowances and benefits applicable to staff members with identical status in the Government of India.

The NCESS Director reserves the right to cancel the hiring process without giving reasons or change the number of vacancies to be filled.

Selection Procedure

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to the typing test, and candidates who pass the typing test will be called to the written test and their merit will be determined based on the written test only.
The names of the shortlisted candidates for the typing test will be posted on the NCESS website (http://www.ncess.gov.in) and notification will be sent via email provided by the candidate.

The application form is available online at the NCESS website http://www.ncess.gov.in. Applicant must complete the online application and upload a recent passport size photo (to enable issuance of an admission card), signature and relevant grade sheets (for all semesters), as well as academic/professional transcript, proof of of date of birth, certificate of experience, certificate of format for relief applicants, etc. If the certificates are in a language other than English, a certified translation must be uploaded.
Applicants who are already employed by central/state government organizations must download a Certificate of No Objection (NOC) from their current employer.
After the registration number has been assigned, the candidate must take the hard copy and send it, duly signed, together with certified copies of the following certificates, to the Senior Manager, National Center for Geosciences, Akkulam, Trivandrum-695. 011, Kerala, India.
