Qualifications

General duty (GD)

(i) Must have a degree from a recognized university with at least 60% of the total grades.

(ii) Mathematics and physics as a subject up to the middle or grade XII of the 10 + 2 + 3 education program or equivalent with at least 55% of the total grades in mathematics and physics. Candidates who have completed a post-graduate degree are also eligible if they must have a total of 55% of the grades from the degree in physics and mathematics in their curriculum.

Commercial pilot

(i) Should have completed 12th grade or an equivalent subject in physics and mathematics as subjects with at least 55% of the total marks in mathematics and physics. Candidates who have completed a diploma are also eligible, provided that they must have a total of 55% of the grades in the degree in physics and mathematics in their curriculum.

(ii) Must hold a current commercial pilot license issued / validated by the Director General of Civil Aviation on the date of application.

Technical (mechanical)

(i) Must hold a degree from a recognized university of maritime architecture or mechanical engineering or maritime or automotive or mechatronics or industrial and manufacturing or metallurgy or design or aviation or aerospace with at least 60% of the overall marks. BUT

Equivalent qualification in any of the above disciplines recognized by the Engineering Institutes (India), as exempted from Sections ‘A’ and ‘B’, and their Associate Membership Examination (AMIE).

(ii) Mathematics and physics as a subject up to the middle or grade XII of the 10 + 2 + 3 education program or equivalent with at least 55% of the total grades in mathematics and physics. Candidates who have completed a post-graduate degree are also eligible if they must have a total of 55% of the grades from the degree in physics and mathematics in their curriculum.

Technical (electricity / electronics)

(i) Must hold a degree from a recognized university in electrical engineering or electronics or telecommunications or instrumentation or instrumentation and control and electronics and communications and energy or power or electronics with at least 60% of the overall marks. BUT

Equivalent qualification in any of the above disciplines recognized by the Engineering Institutes (India), as exempted from Sections ‘A’ and ‘B’, and their Associate Membership Examination (AMIE).

Medical standards:

Height:

(i) Assistant Commander (DG), technical: at least 157 cm. The reduction in altitude for candidates from hilly and tribal areas will be in line with the central government. regulations.

(ii) Assistant Commander (CPL-SSA) (male / female): minimum 162.5 cm and maximum 197 cm, leg length at least 99 cm.

Weight. Proportional to height and age, + 10% acceptable.

Chest. Well proportioned, minimum extension 5 cm.

Eye vision.

(i) Assistant Commander (DG) 6/6 6/9 – Not repaired without glass.

6/6 6/6 – Repaired with glass.

(iii) Assistant Commander 6/6 for one eye and 6/9 for the other

CPL (SSA) beams adjustable for 6/6.

(iv) Assistant Commander (technician) 6/36 6/36 – Not repaired without glass.

6/6 6/6 – Repaired with glass

Application Fee

Candidates (except SC / ST candidates who are exempt from paying the fee) are required to pay a fee of 250 Rs./- (only two hundred and fifty rupees) via the online mode via internet banking or via Visa / Master / Maestro. / RuPay / Credit / Debit Card / UPI. The entrance card will be issued for the exam only to those candidates who have successfully paid the exam fee and are entitled to a waiver of the exam fee.
